Funatabi Atelier produces one-of-a-kind creations utilizing plant-based materials, sumi ink, and a wide range of dyeing techniques, aiming to capture a singular beauty that defies reproduction. In recent years, the atelier has presented textile tapestries as art pieces, while also exploring spatial installations that transform and enrich the surrounding environment.
The textiles reflect ever-changing “landscapes” that shift subtly with light, time, and place. As the years pass, the hues and tonal variations seem to deepen, further enhancing their expressive quality.
This exhibition will showcase a new collection of wool garments, bags, and textile tapestries.
In addition, we will be offering seasonal, plant-based muffins by Ponchice, made with carefully selected ingredients. We invite you to enjoy these together with the exhibition.
